The following fraud, bribery and corruption self-assessment is designed to provide you with an understanding of your organisation’s fraud risks by comparing the results of your assessment with your peer group. It will help you to classify your current level of controls relating to fraud risks. The outcome of the assessment will show you if the risks your organisation faces are well enough controlled and monitored and it will help you to identify needs for action. In order to take your understanding to the next level, we encourage you to discuss the outcome of the assessment and the benchmarking with your audit team or contact PwC for further guidance.
This assessment helps you to gain further insight into where you stand regarding fraud risks and your internal control over fraud. The answers to the questions in chapter “You and your organisation” are also benchmarked with The PwC study “Economic Crime Survey Netherlands 2019”, giving you information about fraud risks of comparable companies. This section is free of charge and can be accessed by clicking on the “start self-assessment” button. Should you want to continue on to the next sections please feel free to contact us for further information. Completion of this assessment does not guarantee that fraud will not occur in your organisation. It should however highlight areas related to the risk of fraud that may require enhancement or improvement, and provide you with a ‘snapshot’ view of where your organisation stands in terms of fraud prevention and detection.
